THURSTON (10-8, 5-5, #11)

■ Leading off: Saturday, Thurston welcomes No. 1 Crater (14-2, 6-1) for a doubleheader to finish a three-game series. Last season, the Colts swept the Comets, giving them three of the four league losses they had all of last season. Tuesday, the Colts travel to No. 31 Springfield (0-16, 0-10) for the first of a three-game series. Last season, the Colts swept the Millers, shutting them out in all three games and scoring 17 runs per game.

SPRINGFIELD (0-16, 0-10, #31)

■ Leading off: The Millers face No. 14 Churchill (7-10, 4-6) on Saturday. Last season, the Lancers swept the Millers. On Tuesday, the Millers welcome No. 11 Thurston.

COTTAGE GROVE (4-13, 1-2, #28)

■ Leading off: The Lions face the top three teams in Class 4A. They welcome No. 2 Marist Catholic (10-4, 2-1) for a doubleheader on Friday to finish their three-game series. The Spartans swept the Lions last season. Tuesday, the Lions travel to No. 3 Junction City (11-5, 1-2). The Tigers swept the Lions last season, including multiple 10+ run victories.

CRESWELL (13-4, 6-0, #3)

■ Leading off: Creswell looks to keep an eight-game win streak alive. It has a doubleheader against No. 35 Harrisburg (3-12, 0-6), which has lost six in a row, on Friday. The Bulldogs swept the Eagles last season, outscoring them 39-1 over three games. Tuesday, the Bulldogs travel to No. 24 Pleasant Hill. Earlier this season, the Bulldogs swept a doubleheader against the Billies.

PLEASANT HILL (4-9, 1-5, #24)

■ Leading off: P-Hill welcomes No. 17 Elmira (11-4, 4-1) for a Friday doubleheader. Earlier this season, the Falcons defeated the Billies 7-4. Elmira scored four runs in the sixth inning to pull away. On Tuesday, the Billies welcome rival No. 3 Creswell.
