Four Lady Dawgs net All-League volleyball nods

Four members of the Creswell Lady Bulldogs volleyball team were recognized when the Mountain Valley Conference’s 2018 All-League teams were announced recently.
Sophomore outside hitter Breanna Dapron and senior outside hitter/setter Bailey Howell were named to the First Team, while junior setter Jenessa Mallory and junior middle hitter Kylee Whitson were named to the Second Team.
Emily Bourne, a sophomore outside/right-side hitter from Santiam Christian, was named Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year.
Joining Bourne, Dapron and Howell on the First Team were Harrisburg senior, Duran Jelden; Santiam Christian junior, Kassie Staton; and Pleasant Hill senior Victoria Lewis.
Named to the Second Team along with Mallory and Whitson were Santiam Christian junior, Josie Risinger; Harrisburg junior, Mya Langley; Harrisburg junior, Hope Bucher; and La Pine senior, Josey Hawkins.
Receiving Honorable Mention were Santiam Christian junior, Lauryn Penner; Pleasant Hill junior, Rachel Blatch; Pleasant Hill senior, Shelby McGuire; Santiam Christian junior, Aliyah Atkins; and La Pine senior, Cortney Wolf.
Kelli Fitzpatrick, head coach of the League Champion Santiam Christian Eagles, was named Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
