Eight Lady Dawgs garner All-League soccer nods

Eight members of the Creswell Lady Bulldogs soccer team were honored when 2018 All-League teams for 3A/2A/1A Special District 3 were announced recently.
Creswell senior midfielder Allison Smathers was named Co-Player of the Year for Special District 3 while fellow senior Tabetha Donovan was named Goalkeeper of the Year.
Also named to the First Team were senior defender Hannah Bettis and senior midfielder Hallie Drago.
Named to the Second Team were senior defender Kelsey Kuhnhausen, senior defender/midfielder Aubrie Hatch, senior forward Morgan Janshen and sophomore midfielder/forward Anna Dahl.
Named Special District 3 Co-Player of the Year with Smathers was Makenna David of Santiam Christian.
Joining Smathers, David, Donovan, Bettis and Drago on the First Team were Audrey Miller, Chloe Beck and Sina Schömezler of Santiam Christian; Alicia Duchateau and Kacie Hoyt of Pleasant Hill; and Cheyenne Saul of La Pine.
Named to the Second Team along with Kuhnhausen, Hatch, Janshen and Dahl were Sophey Roberts, Chloe Roberts, Abby Davis and goalkeeper Kailey Gurr of Santiam Christian; Maddie Quick, Rachel Carlisle and Sidney Sullivan of Pleasant Hill; and Italy Gonzalez and Tatum McDaniel of La Pine.
Earning Honorable Mention were Georgia Warren, Lara Rupnawar and goalkeeper Stella Hucka of Pleasant Hill; and Cassidy Cummings and goalkeeper Evie Toruno of La Pine.
Wendi Farris, head coach of the League Champion Santiam Christian Eagles, was named Special District 3 Coach of the Year.
