■ CRESWELL was 3-0 last week. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs defeated Elmira 10-0. Landon Vaughn reached in three of four plate appearances, stole three bases, and threw five scoreless innings before the run rule kicked in. Jaxon Pelham hit a home run. On Friday, the Bulldogs defeated Harrisburg 10-0 and 14-1. In Game One, Pelham threw all six innings, allowing one hit and striking out seven; Zak Hermansen was 3-for-4, with two stolen bases and an RBI. Colden Clark was 3-for-3, with two stolen bases and three runs scored, and pitched a 1-2-3 final inning, striking out two.
■ COTTAGE GROVE was swept by Marist last week. In Friday’s second game, Lions senior Elijah Cushman was 2-for-4, with 3 RBI in a 14-7 loss. The Lions drew eight walks in that game.
■ PLEASANT HILL was 0-3 last week, losing 6-1 to Sisters on Tuesday, and 5-0 and 5-2 to Elmira on Friday. In Friday’s second game, Takoda Brothers reached in three of four plate appearances, with a double.
■ SPRINGFIELD lost both games last week to Churchill. Millers’ leadoff hitter Ryan Letsom had all three of his team’s hits over the two games, and added a walk and an RBI for good measure.
