CRESWELL (16-4, 9-0, #4)

■ Leading off: Creswell has three games this week, looking to extend its 11-game winning streak. The Bulldogs have a Friday doubleheader at No. 18 La Pine (10-9, 4-5). On April 21, the Bulldogs defeated the Hawks 11-1. Kayden Roberts led the Bulldogs with three hits, a walk, and three runs scored in that one. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs play host to No. 6 Sisters (11-6, 6-2) on Senior Night. The Bulldogs handed the Outlaws their only two league losses in a doubleheader on April 24. The Bulldogs have four seniors to honor: Matthew Jenkins, Dylan Silbernagel, Cody Winn, and Roberts.

THURSTON (11-10, 6-7, #9)

■ Leading off: Thurston has one league matchup this week. On Saturday, the Colts welcome No. 31 Springfield (0-18, 0-12) to finish out a two-game series. The Colts swept last year’s series, holding the Millers scoreless and putting up 51 runs over three games. Sweeping the Millers will be important if the Colts want to contend for a top-three finish in the Midwestern League standings.

SPRINGFIELD (0-18, 0-12, #31)

■ Leading off: Springfield has two league matchups this week. On Saturday, the Millers travel across town to finish a two-game series with No. 9 Thurston (11-10, 6-7). On Tuesday, the Millers head to Eugene to play No. 3 North Eugene (13-5, 7-3). The Highlanders swept the Millers last season.

COTTAGE GROVE (4-16, 1-5, #29)

■ Leading off: Cottage Grove has three league matchups this week. The Lions welcome No. 4 Junction City (11-6, 1-2) for a Friday doubleheader to finish out their series. The Tigers swept the Lions last season, including multiple 10+ run victories. On Tuesday, the Lions welcome No. 16 Tillamook (10-9, 3-4) for a rare late-season non-league game. Last season, the Cheesemakers defeated the Lions 4-2.

PLEASANT HILL (4-12, 1-8, #23)

■ Leading off: P-Hill has three league games this week. First, the Billies have a Friday doubleheader against No. 34 Harrisburg (3-15, 0-9). The Billies got their lone league win this season when the two teams matched up in April. The Billies won 12-2, led by Wiley Blake, Wyatt Krauss, and Gabe VanOrdstrand’s multi-hit days. On Tuesday, the Billies travel to No. 18 La Pine (10-9, 4-5). On April 24, the Billies dropped a doubleheader to the Hawks, though by close scores of 7-5 and 9-6.
