■ Leading off: Springfield has two league matchups this week. On Saturday, the Millers travel across town to finish a two-game series with No. 9 Thurston (11-10, 6-7). On Tuesday, the Millers head to Eugene to play No. 3 North Eugene (13-5, 7-3). The Highlanders swept the Millers last season.

COTTAGE GROVE (4-16, 1-5, #29)

■ Leading off: Cottage Grove has three league matchups this week. The Lions welcome No. 4 Junction City (11-6, 1-2) for a Friday doubleheader to finish out their series.
