Pleasant Hill Community Theatre presents ‘Wizard of Oz’

PLEASANT HILL – The Pleasant Hill Community Theatre (PHCT) is preparing for its Spring production of Concord Theatricals’ “The Wizard of Oz,” running from May 7-9 and May 14-16, with showtimes at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday.

The theatre at 35575 Zephyr Way serves as a platform for young artists aged 5-18 and has a seating capacity of 75-100.

This year’s production features the largest cast and crew in PHCT’s history. Director Michael Johnson describes the show as “touching, fun, and whimsical,” making it an ideal experience for audiences aged four and up.
Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for children, with an estimated runtime of 75 minutes.

Join Dorothy, Toto, and a colorful cast of characters on an enchanting journey down the Yellow Brick Road, discovering courage, friendship, and the importance of looking within.
