THURSTON (0-12, #28)

■ Leading off: Thurston has three league matchups this week. On Saturday, it travels to No. 12 North Eugene (5-4, 0-1) for a doubleheader to finish their three-game series. On Tuesday, the Colts welcome No. 10 Eagle Point (5-3, 1-0) for the start of a three-game series. Last season, the Eagles won two out of three matchups between the two. The Colts offense has been on an upward trend, scoring eight runs per game in its past three.

SPRINGFIELD (0-8, #32)

■ Leading off: Springfield has three league games this week. On Saturday, the Millers face No. 10 Eagle Point (5-3, 1-0) for a doubleheader to finish a three-game series. Last season, the Eagles swept the Millers, scoring 48 runs in a three-game span. On Tuesday, the Millers travel to face No. 26 Ashland/Phoenix (3-5, 0-1). Last season, the Grizzlies swept the Millers by a combined score of 35-7.

COTTAGE GROVE (2-8, #25)

■ Leading off: Cottage Grove has three games this week. It travels to No. 26 North Marion (2-5-1) for a doubleheader on Friday. On Tuesday, the Lions begin league play with No. 22 Marshfield (3-6). The Lions swept the Pirates last season, limiting Marshfield to seven runs over three games. The Lions have scored 10+ runs in three straight games.

PLEASANT HILL (2-3, #22)

■ Leading off: P-Hill has three games this week. First, it travels to rival No. 35 Creswell (3-6) for a doubleheader on Friday. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs welcome No. 19 Harrisburg (5-4). Last season, the Eagles swept the Billies and scored 51 runs over three games. After two low-scoring games, the Billies hung 26 on Oakridge last week.

CRESWELL (3-6, #35)

■ Leading off: Creswell has a doubleheader against rival No. 17 Pleasant Hill (3-3) on Friday. The Bulldogs took two out of three from the Billies last season, scoring 47 runs in three games. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs welcome No. 39 La Pine (1-9). Last season, the Bulldogs won two out of three, both wins coming by one run.
