■ SPRINGFIELD lost to Ashland 67-59 on Friday. Lejhaun Henderson, Noah Solo, and Brady Lo’ser combined for 47 points with 17, 16, and 14, respectively. Henderson was efficient, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. .
■ THURSTON defeated Springfield 78-35. Lucas LaBounty led the Colts with 25 points and five assists, and Treyson Hill was stellar as well with 22 points and four steals. The Colts shot 25-of-30 on 2-point field goals. Lejhaun Henderson led the Millers with 12 points, including 5-of-6 from the free throw line.
■ COTTAGE GROVE lost to Junction City 60-22. On Thursday, North Bend defeated the Lions 56-45. Ethan Valdez led the Lions with 20 points and nine rebounds. A promising 2-1 start to league was derailed by an injury to Trevor Cooper and the Lions never found their footing again..
