SPRINGFIELD: The Millers boys competed in the Midwestern League Districts in Ashland last weekend. They finished sixth out of seven with 43 points. Two wrestlers placed for the Millers at districts – Vincent Andrews (138) who placed fourth, and Dominic Jacobson-Marshall (150) who placed sixth.
THURSTON: The Colts boys competed in the Midwestern League Districts in Ashland last weekend. Last week, Colts head coach Mike Simons said it would be a disappointment to get anything but first place. The team didn’t disappoint as they beat Crater for a second time this season, earning first place with 497 points. A total of 25-of-27 wrestlers placed for the Colts on Saturday. Samuel Greenstreet (106), Lukas Salas-Sanchez (113), Michael Salas-Sanchez (120), Ivan Henderson (132), and Truman Whittingham (138) all took first place.
