■ SPRINGFIELD: The Millers competed in the Cottage Grove Invitational last week. Here, the girls got 14th place with 50 points while the boys were 41st with no points. For the girls, Haley Siders (125) was the sole placer, getting second in her weight class.
■ THURSTON: The Colts took on Roseburg in a dual last Wednesday. Both the Colts’ boys and girls came out on top. The boys went 13-1 on Wednesday and the girls went 9-3. This dual continues to show the Colts’ dominance this year in wrestling. One standout for the Colts all season has been Samuel Greenstreet (106), who is 42-3 on the year.
■ COTTAGE GROVE: The Lions hosted the Cottage Grove Invitational last week. The girls earned eighth place with 70 points and the boys finished 12th with 86.5 points. Boston Kent (135), Aliyah Urenda (110), and Alexsis Woody (130) stood out for the girls, placing third, fifth, and sixth, respectively. For the boys, Jeffrey Conklin (132) defended his undefeated record this season (45-0), placing first. Jayden Davis (150) also placed third for the Lions.
■ PLEASANT HILL: The Billies competed in the Cottage Grove Invitational last week. The boys team placed ninth with 99.5 points and the girls earned 13th with 54. Bryson Boyles (113) and Kamdyn Greene (120) both finished second and Nolan Perkins (126) was fourth for the boys. On the girls side, Peyton Buckley (155) and Mattie Peacock (170) both earned third.
