Cottage Grove, Pleasant Hill, Springfield and Thurston runners competed in The Harrier Classic last weekend, with nearly 60 teams from Classes 1A-6A. Thurston was 10th overall, Cottage Grove 13th, Springfield 14th and Pleasant Hill 31st. Carson Buergey once again led the Lions boys team. He earned fourth overall at 15:28. Jennings Albrecht led the Lions at 50th overall with a PR of 17:11. Adrian Estes led the Millers at 16:03. Lastly, representing the boys team for Pleasant Hill was Kaden Seaton in 92nd at 18:03. There were 240 total racers.

For the girls, Thurston took 9th, Springfield 11th, Cottage Grove 12th, and Pleasant Hill 17th. Leading the Colts was Nathalie Parker at 19th overall with a time of 19:31. Bella Wells represented the Millers in 31st at 19:56.29. Ella Cardwell led the Lions in 16th overall, recording 19:24. Lastly, Kristen Gardner represented Pleasant Hill in 70th at 21:23. There were a total of 189 runners for the girls.
