Creswell’s Connor Hanson wins this week’s Athlete of the Week after leading the Bulldogs to a consolation finals win at the Class 3A State Tournament last weekend. After a quarterfinal loss to No. 2 De La Salle North Catholic, in which Hanson scored 12 points, Creswell went 2-0 in the consolation bracket. In the consolation semis, No. 7 Creswell beat No. 3 Dayton 60-37 behind Hanson’s 17 points and 4 assists. In the consolation finals, Hanson had 19 points on 5-of-5 from three to lead Creswell over No. 4 Banks 64-51.
