Mediati family remembers Gio on birthday, offers thanks for the support

Dear Editor,

It has been a little over three months since we lost our Gio. He would have been 16 years old last week, Sept.19.
We never officially said ”thank you” to all those who helped us.
Thank you to the first responders.
Thank you to those who were there that day, to all of you who tried to save him.
Thank you to all who gave their time, hearts and dedication.
Thank you for all the planning, donations and financial support.
Thank you to all who spoke, shared your memories, love and prayers.
Thank you for all the cards, letters and gifts.
Thank you to all who still reach out, who check on us; it means the world to us.
To our Creswell families and community. To our baseball families. To our friends and family. To our O’Hara families. To our TJ families. To our work families. To our PCB family. To all of Gio’s friends and to those who knew Gio and who he touched. To all those who we did not know but still gave us prayers and support: The appreciation and gratitude we have for all of you, the love we have for you is so deep. We are so blessed for all of you.
And to all those who have lost a child, a loved one, a friend: our hearts will always be with you.
Gio loved Pepsi, music, baseball, his friends and family and so much more. In a post on social media we asked those who read it to have a Pepsi, play ”Rocket Man” by Elton John for him. Watch a San Francisco Giants game. They are playing today, Sept. 26, through the weekend. Giovanni is our angel and forever looking over all of us, playing baseball with all the great legends.

Much love,
The Mediati family
Creswell
