The Pleasant Hill boys won a 51-29 league basketball contest at Harrisburg Friday night to run its season record to 10-4 and league mark to 2-0 behind a 27 point effort from 6-5 senior Logan Pruitt.
The Billies used a 9-0 run to open an 11-4 lead with Pruitt scoring six points after Jonny Oljace connected from three-point range.
Stephen Parmenter followed with a pair of hoops for a 17-10 led after one quarter.
P-Hill led 26-17 at the half then after the Eagles opened the second with a three point hoop the Billies scored 12 straight points to open a 38-20 lead with 2:04 left in the second period. Pruitt accounted for seven of the 12 points.
P-Hill carried a 40-21 lead into the final period when Parmenter connected from three-point range and Pruitt concluded the scoring with a dunk.
Joining Pruitt in the scoring column were Parmenter with 11, Oljace five, Max Smith four and Amar Rupanwar and Garet Skelton two each.
