Kylee Holsted doubled, Naomi O’Connor walked and Quiana Beckes singled to load the bases. Shelby McGuire drew a bases-loaded walk for the first run, then Taylor Davis singled to plate two more for a 3-1 lead.
Arika Schenfeld walked to reload the bases, but the Billies couldn’t add to their total.
Davis drew a bases-loaded walk in the second to increase the lead to 4-1, then Kassidy Hutchinson singled, stole second and came home on an overthrow to make it 5-1 in the third.
McGuire doubled in the fourth when the Billies filled the bases with no outs, but they couldn’t add to their total.
The final run came in the fifth when Beckes bunted home Holsted and pushed the margin to 6-1.
Harrisburg cut the lead to 6-3 in the sixth, then 6-5 in the seventh before a ground out ended the game with the bases loaded.
Freshman pitcher Chloe Sharr went the distance in the circle.
The teams collide again on the P-Hill diamond May 3.
