You may never think of sardines again without conjuring images from the Cottage Theatre’s 2018 season-opening play, ”Noises Off!” Warning: this fast-paced production is full of outrageously silly characters, slapstick and dialogue rich with witty innuendo. The players literally run through their lines in this play-within-a-play and take us along for quite the ride.
Every character is well cast and smashing good fun to boot. Once again, The Cottage Theatre players and crew wow the audience with their exceptional aerobic abilities and acting talent.
The sets, by the way, are genius. Thank you, director/stage designer Tony Rust. So what if they need an extra intermission – it is worth the wait.
Looking for an old-fashioned English-style bedroom farce to cheer up your week? Cottage Theatre has your ticket.
