Springfield fiesta a culture hub for fun

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Alliance for Equity and Respect (SAfER), a CALC program celebrating 25 years of working for social justice in Springfield at its Fiesta con Nuestros Vecinos in Tyson Park on Aug. 14. Live music, children’s activities, yoga and a mural painting activity kept the crowd engaged as vendors shared pertinent information about their organizations. Shaved ice and Hispanic cuisine made for happy bellies at the celebration.
