SPRINGFIELD – The Oregon Government Ethics Commission is investigating the Springfield Public School Board’s hiring process for the acting superintendent last February.
The investigation stems from a complaint issued by Nicole De Graff, a recently resigned board member. In the complaint, De Graff alleges that members of the board engaged in prohibited serial communications concerning the hiring of an acting superintendent prior to a Feb. 20 school board meeting.
