The Lane County Elections Office is urging residents to register to vote or update their voter registration by Oct. 14 ahead of the Nov. 4 Special Election.

Online registration must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 14, while hand-delivered forms are due by 5 p.m. at the Elections Office in Eugene. Mailed registrations must be postmarked by the same date.

Ballots will be mailed starting Oct. 16 to voters in specific districts, including Dunes City and Springfield. Voters can return their ballots by mail, at drop boxes, or at the Elections Office. For more information, visit oregonvotes.gov or contact the office at 541-682-4234.
