THURSTON (0-12, #28)

■ Leading off: Thurston has two league matchups this week. On Friday, the Colts finish out a three-game series with a doubleheader against No. 32 Springfield (0-17, 0-9). Last season, the Colts won all three matchups by an average margin of 15 runs.

SPRINGFIELD (0-17, 0-9, #32)

■ Leading off: Springfield has three league games this week. On Friday, the Millers travel to No. 21 Thurston (0-21, 0-12) for a doubleheader. Both teams are still searching for their first victory. On Tuesday, the Colts travel to play No. 12 North Eugene (12-6, 6-3) for the first of a three-game series. Last season, the Highlanders swept the Millers.

COTTAGE GROVE (5-13, 2-4, #24)

■ Leading off: Cottage Grove has two games this week. Both come in a Friday home doubleheader against No. 20 Junction City (3-11, 0-3). The Tigers took two out of three games from the Lions last season, though the Lions won the lone home game in the series.

PLEASANT HILL (10-5, 7-2, #18)

■ Leading off: P-Hill has three league games this week. First, the Billies travel to No. 15 Harrisburg (13-5, 8-1). The Eagles lead the Mountain Valley Conference, with the Billies only one game back, so this matchup could be for the top spot in the MVC. Earlier this season, the Eagles defeated the Billies 18-2, though P-Hill has won five in a row since then and is better on the road. On Tuesday, the Billies travel to No. 38 La Pine (4-14, 3-5). The Billies swept a doubleheader over the Hawks on April 17, winning by scores of 14-4 and 21-0.

CRESWELL (6-12, 3-6, #34)

■ Leading off: Creswell has three league games this week, starting with an away doubleheader against No. 38 La Pine (4-14, 3-5). The Bulldogs defeated the Hawks 7-2 on April 21, led by Elise Thackara’s 2-for-4, 3 RBI day at the plate, and Rylee Apker’s complete game in the circle. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs host No. 40 Sisters (1-12, 0-8) on Senior Night. The Bulldogs took two high-scoring games from the Outlaws in a doubleheader on April 24. The Bulldogs have four seniors to honor: Regan Gwaltney, Savannah Rook, Jordyn Marklin, and Thackara.
