■ SPRINGFIELD hosts Churchill in a dual meet on Wednesday. In the Millers other dual meet so far this season, against Marist, it dominated the throwing events, led by Noah Solo and Sailor Hall.
■ On Saturday, THURSTON will be in the John Oliver Invitational. This is one of the biggest meets every year for the Colts. Brooklyn Anderson and Carson Buergey will hope to continue building on early season success.
■ COTTAGE GROVE has its first meet of the season against Junction City on Tuesday. In the cross country 5000m Sky Em League Championships, both teams competed. The Lions had four of the top seven athletes on the boys side. On the girls side, Lola Esplin won the event for Junction City, while Ella Cardwell finished third.
