■ SPRINGFIELD: The Millers boys compete in the Midwestern League Districts on Saturday at Ashland HS. Competing alongside the Millers will be Ashland, Churchill, Crater, Eagle Point, North Eugene, and Thurston.
■ THURSTON: The Colts boys compete in the Midwestern League Districts on Saturday at Ashland HS vs. Ashland, Churchill, Crater, Eagle Point, North Eugene, and Springfield. The Colts have been dominant all year, and this is their chance to solidify their greatness. Look for Samuel Greenstreet (106) and Michael Salas-Sanchez (120) to get wins here, and for the team to finish as champions.
■ COTTAGE GROVE: The Lions girls compete in the Class 4A Special District 2 regionals this weekend. Competing against the Lions will be Butte Falls, Coquille, Douglas, Elmira/Crow, Gilchrist, Glide, Harrisburg, Junction City, Marshfield, North Lake, Pleasant Hill, Sutherlin, and Cascade Christian. Boston Kent (135) has been great all year for the Lions.
