Three veterans enjoy a waterfowl hunt near the Tualatin River on Veterans Waterfowl Hunt Day. The Oregon Hunters Association, OR Department of Fish & Wildlife, and others hosted a waterfowl hunt for eight veterans and active military personnel on Jan. 31 at Sill’s waterfowl property on the Tualatin River. Oregon’s general duck season ended Jan. 25, but each year ODFW sanctions a special postseason hunt for veterans only.
