SVdP service stats are out

According to St. Vincent de Paul and the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), more than 92% of the people it served in 2025 were from Eugene or Springfield. Specifically, 80% were from Eugene, and 12% were from Springfield. Additionally, 7.7% were from Lane County but not from Eugene or Springfield.

This data aligns with broader studies conducted in states like California, which consistently show that more than 70% of unhoused individuals remain in the community where they became unhoused, according to SVdP.
