■ SPRINGFIELD competes in the Cottage Grove Invitational this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Competing alongside the Millers is Butte Falls, Central Linn, Churchill, Creswell, Douglas, Elmira, Glide, Gold Beach, Junction City, Klamath Union, Lakeview, Madras, Marshfield, McMinnville, Myrtle Point, Nestucca, North Bend, North Lake, North Valley, Oakridge, Philomath, Pleasant Hill, Scappoose, Siuslaw/Mapleton, South Umpqua, Willamette, Ashland, Coquille, Cottage Grove, Douglas, Eagle Point, Gilchrist, Harrisburg, Marshfield, Mohawk, North Lake, Phoenix, Pleasant Hill, Rainier, Scio, Sheldon, South Umpqua, Triangle Lake, and Waldport. Vincent Andrews (138) is looking to bounce back after not placing last week. Jules Starnes (130) and Aleida Martinez Contreras (235) will look to place again for the girls.

■ THURSTON competes against Roseburg in a dual on Wednesday. The Colts have dominated everyone in their path this season, and it’s likely Roseburg will be the same on Wednesday. Look for Ivan Henderson (132) to continue his hot streak alongside brothers Lukas (113) and Michael Salas-Sanchez (120).

■ COTTAGE GROVE hosts the Cottage Grove Invitational this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Competing against the Lions are Butte Falls, Central Linn, Churchill, Creswell, Douglas, Elmira, Glide, Gold Beach, Junction City, Klamath Union, Lakeview, Madras, Marshfield, McMinnville, Myrtle Point, Nestucca, North Bend, North Lake, North Valley, Oakridge, Philomath, Pleasant Hill, Scappoose, Siuslaw/Mapleton, South Umpqua, Willamette, Ashland, Coquille, Douglas, Eagle Point, Gilchrist, Harrisburg, Marshfield, Mohawk, North Lake, Phoenix, Pleasant Hill, Rainier, Scio, Sheldon, South Umpqua, Springfield, Triangle Lake, and Waldport. Jeffrey Conklin (132) has been a force for the Lions this season with an undefeated record of 40-0. This will be some of his stiffest competition of the year with a large pool of competitors.

■ PLEASANT HILL will compete in the Cottage Grove Invitational this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Competing alongside the Billies will be Butte Falls, Central Linn, Churchill, Creswell, Douglas, Elmira, Glide, Gold Beach, Junction City, Klamath Union, Lakeview, Madras, Marshfield, McMinnville, Myrtle Point, Nestucca, North Bend, North Lake, North Valley, Oakridge, Philomath, Pleasant Hill, Scappoose, Siuslaw/Mapleton, South Umpqua, Willamette, Ashland, Coquille, Cottage Grove, Douglas, Eagle Point, Gilchrist, Harrisburg, Marshfield, Mohawk, North Lake, Phoenix, Rainier, Scio, Sheldon, Springfield, South Umpqua, Triangle Lake, and Waldport. Mattie Peacock (170) has been consistently great for the Billies this season. After her win at Blake’s Battle for the Golden Yam, this is another chance for her to prove herself.
