CRESWELL – On Dec. 17 at 10:30 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 82100 block of Davisson Road. Several days before, Jose Donaldo DeLeon, 32, of Creswell, entered a residence without permission and slashed the victim’s tires.
DeLeon barricaded himself inside a small shed when deputies arrived. Deputies spoke with DeLeon by phone, but negotiations failed. Deputies deployed pepper spray into the shed, but it was ineffective. An arrest warrant was issued, and deputies forced the door open and arrested DeLeon. He was lodged at the Lane County Jail for Criminal Trespass in the 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct in the 2nd Degree.
