On Friday, Dec. 5, at 2:14 p.m., Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 58, near milepost 51, about 15 miles southeast of Oakridge.
The preliminary investigation indicated a westbound Audi Q5, operated by Jessica Nicole Ingoglia, 37, of Klamath Falls, left the lane of travel for unknown reasons, crossed the eastbound lane, and struck a dirt embankment.
Ingoglia, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was declared deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, Clifford Gary Ingoglia, 37, of Klamath Falls, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital. An 8-year-old passenger sustained critical injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The highway was impacted for two hours during the on-scene investigation. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
