Pleasant Hill and Creswell cruise in non-league; boys soccer roundup

Creswell went 1-2 last week against a line of private schools. It started with a 3-2 loss to Oregon Episcopal on Tuesday. Then, the Bulldogs dominated Rogue River 8-0. Finally, the Dwags lost to St. Mary’s Medford 3-0.

Pleasant Hill started its season late due to non-league cancellations. It just began its season last week and went 0-1-1. It started with a 1-1 tie against Rogue River on Monday and then the Billies lost to Yamhill Carlton 5-1.

Springfield went 1-1 last week. It beat Sprague on Monday, where Jorge Alatorre scored in the first half and three key saves by goalkeeper Zaydin Morscheck helped the Millers keep it 2-0 at halftime. Jack Syre also scored. Following that, the Millers lost to Corvallis 4-1.

Thurston went 0-2 last week in non-league. It lost 9-1 to West Albany on Monday and then 2-0 against Canby on Wednesday.
