SPRINGFIELD — SELCO Community Credit Union has been named one of 10 finalists for the Credit Union Times’ 2025 Luminaries Awards for Community Impact, recognizing its efforts in the Pacific Northwest.
This follows the 2024 launch of SELCO Steps Up, a community outreach initiative focused on supporting educators, students, and local nonprofits. In 2024, SELCO awarded nearly $415,000 through educator initiatives and scholarships, marking the largest giving year in the credit union’s nearly 90-year history.
Employees contributed around 1,400 volunteer hours, showcasing a strong commitment to community support. The winners of the Luminaries Awards will be announced in November during a ceremony in Orlando, Fla. More info: selco.org/steps-up.
