Lane County is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Community & Economic Development (CED) Grant Program. This competitive grant opportunity aims to support high-impact projects that enhance local economies, expand workforce training access, and revitalize commercial districts across the region.
Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits and municipal entities serving Lane County can apply for funding, with $200,000 available through state video lottery funds. Individual awards will range from $5,000 to $30,000. Priority will be given to proposals that promote inclusive economic growth and align with the County’s strategic development goals.
Key focus areas include increasing family-wage employment in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and technology; supporting business innovation through accelerators and apprenticeship programs; providing technical assistance and mentorship for small businesses; and revitalizing Lane County’s Main Streets and downtown districts.
This year, the program will accept applications only from organizations that did not receive funding in the previous cycle (2024–2025). New applicants with innovative, community-based economic development approaches are encouraged to apply.
Applications are due by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Submissions must be emailed to [email protected], and only one application per organization will be accepted. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Each application will be assessed based on its economic development impact, performance outcomes, clarity, budget justification, and ability to serve underserved or rural populations. Additional points may be awarded for projects that demonstrate measurable economic value or serve unincorporated, economically disadvantaged areas.
