PeaceHealth opens only urgent care clinic in Springfield area just for kids

EUGENE – PeaceHealth is excited to announce the opening of the Valley River Pediatric Priority Care Clinic, the only urgent care facility in the Eugene/Springfield area dedicated exclusively to children.

This clinic will serve kids of all ages, from newborns to 18-year-olds, and is open seven days a week, including for those who are not currently PeaceHealth patients.

Pediatric Priority Care provides a comprehensive level of service akin to that of urgent and same-day clinics, offering essential services such as X-ray and lab draws.

Starting Sept. 1, the clinic will open its doors from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., including evenings, weekends, and holidays at 1400 Valley River Dr., Suite 110, Eugene.

The experienced pediatricians at the clinic can address a wide array of illnesses and injuries that might otherwise require a visit to the emergency room.

Services cover treating an infant’s rash and managing a teen’s broken finger to addressing ear infections, fevers, and even providing stitches.

For symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, or severe bleeding, call 911 or head to the nearest emergency room, as these may indicate life-threatening conditions.
