LOWELL — On Aug. 14 at approximately 4 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a person chasing individuals with a pistol at a campground on Peninsula Road near Fall Creek Reservoir.
Responding with an armored rescue vehicle and a drone operator, deputies located the victims who reported fleeing from an unknown male armed with a pistol. Deputies then found two individuals in the area, one of whom matched the suspect’s description.…
