■ Free First Friday at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 1680 E. 15th Ave., Eugene. Come enjoy a unique journey across Oregon’s past, present, and future.

SATURDAY, JAN. 11

■ Swifty Skate Party, 5-7 p.m. and 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Bob Keefer Center, 250 S. 32nd St., Springfield. All-ages skate party celebrating Taylor Swift through music, décor, and vibes from every album era. $8 in-district or $11 out-of-district.

■ Miss Oregon Volunteer Scholarship Pageant, 6 p.m. at Wildish Theater, 630 Main St., Springfield. 

■ Sorry For The Mess, 7:30 p.m., Ragozzino Performance Hall on Lane Community College’s main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Bldg. 6, Eugene. A fundraiser for the Student Production Association, admission is free with cash donations accepted at the door. No reservations are required. Contact [email protected] for more information.

■ Building Unity Community Resource Fair, 3-6 p.m., Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 W. C St., Springfield. This event is free, and no registration is required. Spanish interpreters will be on-site.

■ Jewelry Repair Drop-in for ages 50-plus, 2-3:30 p.m. at Willamalane Adult Activity Center, 215 W. C St., Springfield. Free. Jewelry repair session with Angela Lees. Get free help with broken clasps, missing links, or other restoration services for your favorite pieces. Small fee may apply for special supplies.

■ SpringFilm: Run Lola Run, 6:30 p.m. at Richard E. Wildish Community Theater, 630 Main St., Springfield. A free movie screening of Run Lola Run (1998).

THURSDAY, JAN. 16

■ BIPOC Blueprint 2024 from Connect Lane County, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Spark at Booth-Kelly, 303 S. 5th St. STE 150, Springfield. Designed for youth to build community and have fun through conversations, workshops, and activities. Topics include mental health, how to thrive in spaces where you’re the minority, how to live an active and healthy life, and how to deal with microaggressions. Repeats every 4th Thursday of the month. 

TUESDAY, JAN. 21

■ A3 Information Night, 5:30 p.m., Academy of Arts and Academics, 615 Main St., Springfield. Learn about A3, talk to staff, and take a tour.

SUNDAY, JAN. 26

■ Family Swim Day, noon, Splash!, 6100 Thurston Rd., Springfield. Enjoy an afternoon of swimming with your Centennial family and friends. Admission is free for Centennial students and their families. Everyone can stay for the public swim from 1-5 p.m. at no cost.

THURSDAY, JAN. 30

■ Community Hiring Event: PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., 3333 Riverbend Dr., Springfield. Meet recruiters and hiring managers in person and interview for clinical and non-clinical roles.

FRIDAY,JAN. 31

■ Teen Night, 6-10 p.m., Creswell Clubhouse, 364 Cobalt Ln. Grades 6th-12th can do crafts, computer games, volleyball, pool table, open gym, Nintendo switch, VR, and more. Sign the parent permission slip on the website to join for all events. Dinner is $5 and snacks are $1.
