Community Alliance of Lane County (CALC) programs, Springfield Alliance for Equity and Respect (SAfER) and Unión de Activistas (UdA) youth group, together with our partners at Escudo Latino, are building leadership cohorts among BIPOC youth and families in our community.

At their last meeting, the Voces Unidas parent group discussed the return to school. At our upcoming meeting, families will practice protecting our rights and advocating for ourselves in school and city systems. Unión de Activistas youth interviewed local student activists.
