■ Mildly Haunted Maze of Mischief and Magic, every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 p.m., Northern Lights Farm, 36777 Wheeler Rd, Pleasant Hill. The corn maze is getting a magical makeover. Join us for a mildly haunted maze experience, where you’ll encounter wizards, ghosts, and more.

■ Lane County Farmers Market Live Music by Apex Predators, 5-9 p.m., 85 E. 8th Ave., Eugene. There will also be a costume contest with prizes. 

THU.-SAT., OCT. 17-19

■ Haunted Hayrides, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Willamalane Park and Recreation District, 1276 G St, Springfield. Willamalane presents Shipwrecked, an interactive experience celebrating the fall season at historic Dorris Ranch. This traditional hayride will show riders pirates, mermaids, sea monsters, and more. ■ Fright at the Museum, 4-8:30 p.m., Springfield History Museum, 590 Main St., Springfield. Come from 4-6 p.m. for a family friendly event. From 6:30-8 p.m. is for older teens and adults for a more scary night. Kids 5-18: $3, Adults: $5, Kids under 5: free. All proceeds go to the museum.

SAT.-SUN., OCT. 19-20 

■ The Halloween Tea, Sat: 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sun: 1 p.m., Shelton McMurphey Johnson House Museum, 303 Willamette St., Eugene. Advance ticket purchase required. Parking is free. $35 per ticket/$30 for members. Buy tickets at smjhouse.org/smj-house-store/.

■ Free Pumpkin Decorating, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Lane County Farmers Market, 85 E. 8th Ave., Eugene. There will also be trick-or-treating for holiday market coupons. 

■ Bumpkin Patch with Oregon Birth and Wellness Center, 1-4 p.m., 890 Beltline Rd., Springfield. Join for family friendly, fall themed art projects. Great opportunity to socialize with other parents in the community. Children of all ages welcome, and a free event. 

■ Harvest Tea, 2-4 p.m., Dorris Ranch, 205 Dorris Street, Springfield. Enjoy tea, treats, live music, and a photo booth. Registration is required at www.willamalane.org. 

Veneta Haunts, 3-7 p.m., Veneta City Park, 25192 E Broadway. Haunted house, monster mash disco, food, wine bar, face painting, games and local vendors. There will also be a costume contest for kids, adults, and pets. Free.

■ 5th Annual Trunk-Or-Treat, 4-6 p.m., Church of Christ, 6th & Gibbs St., Cottage Grove. The free event offers children candy-filled vehicle trunks, games, & popcorn.

SHS Booster Club Trunk-or-Treat, 5-9 p.m., 875 7th St., Springfield. Food, games, and prizes. More info: [email protected]

■ A Spooktacular Dinner & Auction, 5-9:30 p.m., 2095 Yolanda Ave., Springfield. South Willamette Valley Honor flight invites you to a dinner and auction fundraiser to help send more veterans on their Honor Flight. Eat great food and show off costumes (costumes optional). ■ Springfield City Hall-o-ween, 3:30-5 p.m., City Hall, 225 5th St. Free for all ages. Indoor trick or treating, activities, and more.

■ Thurston’s Trunk or Treat, 5-7 p.m., Parking lot of Conways, 5658 Main St., Springfield. There will be music, prizes, costumes, games, and more. Rain or shine event will be held. 

■ Cottage Grove Downtown Trick or Treat, 3:30-6pm, Main St. from hwy 99 to 5th St. Chamber Members participate for free. Sign up now to secure your spot at business.cgchamber.com. Booth and decorating contest this year.

■ My Willamette Kids Trunk or Treat, 5:30-7 p.m., 2500 W. 18th Ave., Eugene. Free and safe community event.

■ 5th Annual Halloween at Creswell Grange Trick-or-Treat, 3-7 p.m., 274 W. Oregon Ave.
