FRIDAY, SEPT. 27

■   Acorn Circle Native American Program Learning Sessions for Kids, 1:30 p.m., Springfield Public Library. For early release Fridays. Kids will have crafts, stories, and watch a short video. Free. Curriculum by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, adaptation and teaching by the staff of Singing Creek Educational Center. Teachers and parents are welcome. Event repeats. 

■   Last Friday Art Walk, 6-8 p.m., Downtown Cottage Grove. Free. 

FRI-SAT, SEPT. 27-28

■   Sweet Salvage 13th Annual Harvest Fair, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm, 36777 Wheeler Rd., Pleasant Hill. The two-day event will include a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, live music, food trucks, vendors offering vintage and salvaged items. Admission $8/person, Hayrides $2.

■   Craft Fair at Delight Valley Church, Fri: 12-6 p.m., Sat: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., 33087 E Saginaw Rd, Cottage Grove. Two day craft fair with indoor and outdoor options. Vendors and free clothing closet available. 

SATURDAY, SEPT. 28

■   Oktoberfest in Cottage Grove, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Downtown Cottage Grove. No need for tickets. Activities for all ages. Music, Food, and Beer. More Info: cottagegroveoktoberfest.com 

■   Tractor Supply Farmers Market, all day, Tractor Supply 190 Emerald Pkwy., Creswell. 

■ Cottage Grove Community Cook-Off, 6 a.m.-1:45 p.m., during Oktoberfest. Now accepting submissions for cook teams ($75/event), vendors and sponsorships. Bring your original recipe and compete in brisket and/or beef rib categories. Best In Show Award: a Traeger Pro 575. Benefiting the CG Youth Rodeo. Raffles, demos, awards and more. ■   A&J Sports Cards Teams Up with Valley River Center, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Center Court, Valley River Center, Eugene. Reserve Your Table for the Eugene Collectibles Show. 

■  Springfield Stroll, noon, PublicHousehub, 418 A St, Springfield. Sip and stroll while raising money for the Oregon Cancer Foundation. Tickets are $25 each and include a custom tasting glass, 5 tasting tickets, wristband, and event map. Must be 21+ to participate. Tickets at EatDrinkOregon.com. 

■  Craft Supply and Art Swap, 1-6 p.m., MadeByYou, 715 Main Street, Springfield. Exchange your artistic supplies and masterpieces with fellow crafters. Bring: extra yarn, paint, beads, or any other craft materials, and finished artwork. Free for the public.

■  Lane County Film Studios Script to Screen Film Competition, 6 p.m., Ragozzino Performance Hall, Lane Community College, Building 6, 4000 E 30th Ave., Eugene. Nine teams have taken the same script and crafted unique films.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 29

■  Welcome Walks, 12:30 -1:30 p.m., 82940 Hurlburt Ln., Creswell. $5 per ticket. Free admission for children under 5. Come meet the animals of Welcome Home Animal Sanctuary in Creswell up close. 

SAT-SUN, OCT. 5-6

■  Marvelous Maude’s Art Rescue, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sat., and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sun., 1915 E 15th Ave., Eugene. Community art sale benefiting Maude Kerns Art Center selling drawings, paintings, sculpture, collectibles etc. Free and open to the public. Scary Movie Night, 7 p.m., Shelton McMurphy Johnson House Museum, 303 Willamette St., Eugene. Multiple Alfred Hitchcock movies and others. Each night will feature just over 2 hours of movie time. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Adults: $10, Youth 12 & under: $6. More Info: www.smjhouse.org

■ Riverview Center for Growth Inaugural Golf Tournament, 8 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. start, Emerald Valley Golf Club, 600 Dale Kuni Rd., Creswell. The proceeds support mental and behavioral health services for youth, teens, adults, and families. Format is scramble, 4-player teams.
