With a 100% chance of rain for much of the day, and an estimated total rainfall of .514 inches, weather was anything but holly or jolly on Saturday, Dec. 2. But in true Oregonian form, the rain hardly dampered spirits in Springfield. The city ushered in the holiday season with the Oldest & Coldest Parade, which snaked through out town, with floats and participants themed to “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
