Kathleen Mae (Daffern) Razem

Kathleen “Kathy” Mae (Daffern) Razem passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Nov. 26, 2023 in Webster, Texas.
She is predeceased by her son, Eric, of Springfield, Ore. and her parents, Herschel Daffern and Hazel Marie (Cosman) Daffern of Renton, Wash. She is survived by her son, Frank S. Razem and wife, Christa Razem, of Webster, Texas; her brother, Clark Daffern of Phoenix, Ariz.; and her grandchildren, Maya “Eli” Razem of Christchurch, New Zealand, Emily Razem and Frank A. Razem, also of Webster, Texas.
Kathy was a resident of Springfield, Ore. for more than 40 years. She received her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Special Education from the University of Oregon. She taught Special Education in the Springfield School District for more than three decades, including Centennial, Maple and Yolanda elementary schools. Kathy was a lifelong Oregon Ducks fan! She touched the lives of many and will be missed dearly.
