COTTAGE GROVE — The City of Cottage Grove has contracted Sierra Santa Fe Construction to work on North River Road from West Main Street to Woodson Bridge and W. Main St. from River Road to South R St.
On July 12, City staff will begin to prepare the roads for this development through applying crack sealing and pot hole repairs through Thursday, July 20.
People should prepare for delays of up to an hour on Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 21 as cheap sealing will be performed — and they should also prepare for a minimum of a two to four hour delay on Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25 because Sierra Santa Fe Construction will be applying sealant with a product called Liquid Road.
The time it will take for the Liquid Road to dry varies, but the heat from the sun will help. City staff will assist cars on site, and there will be no street park.
