Jean Nancy Hungerford, 74, of Cottage Grove, Ore. passed away Oct. 8, 2022.
Jean was born March 30, 1948 in Deadwood, S.D. to parents Tom and Kathreen (Purnell) Streets. She married Allan L. Hungerford on Aug. 30, 1975 in Bandon, Ore. Jean graduated from Bandon High School in 1966.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in English literature from Oregon State University.
After graduation she worked as a Librarian in Bandon and then became a housewife after marriage. Jean enjoyed reading, puzzles, games, gardening, traveling, collecting many things, walking, camping and talking with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Allan, of Cottage Grove, Ore., and sister Carloyn Bell of Reedsport, Ore. There are no services at this time. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
