It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dolores “Dee” Higgins of Springfield, Ore.
Born in Killdeer, N.D., Dee passed away in her sleep on Oct. 7, 2022.
Dee was kind, compassionate and caring and watched over her family and friends alike. She will be missed but never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Clemens Fettig, Mary Hartman, and Eleanor Wichser. She is survived by her husband John “Ed” Higgins; her sons, Michael D. Higgins and Edward J. Higgins (wife Wendy); and her sisters, Agnes Schwalbe of Killdeer, N.D. and Rosie Benz of Killdeer, N.D. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael J. Higgins (wife Gretchen) and Matthew J. Higgins.
