Nancy ‘Nan’ Wolcott

 June 3, 1934 – Sept. 21, 2022

Nancy “Nan” Wolcott, 88, of Springfield went home to Jesus on Sept. 21, 2022. Nan was born June 3, 1934, to Alfred and Esther (Shonnesan) Worth in Portland. 

Nan had many interests in life including boat racing with her family, traveling to Mexico with her husband Jim, 10 years in a row to help build churches and orphanages. She was with the Model A club for 41 years. Nan enjoyed sewing and many crafting projects. She loved to cook and spoiled her family with her scrumptious freezer jams and incredible cooking skills. Nan was a very strong woman of faith and was always there to help others with a big hug and a smile.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy, and Ernie; sister Sheila; and Debbie, Nan’s first-born daughter.

Nan is survived by her husband, Jim, whom she married just shy of 70 years ago; daughter, Jamie; grandson Josh (DeAnna); two great grandchildren Makayla (Trevor) and Michael; nephew, Pat (Sharon); sisters, Rosie, and Bobbie.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Foundation For His Ministry, PO Box 74000, San Clemente, Calif. 92673. A celebration of life will be held Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Springfield Faith Center.
