VOLLEYBALL
■ No. 3 Creswell went undefeated and won the tournament it hosted on Saturday. The Bulldogs first beat La Pine last Thursday 3-1. Lauren Bailey had 6 aces and 8 kills, Kendyl Whitson had 4 aces and 5 kills, Lizabelle Osborn had 13 Kills, 3 aces and 12 digs, Kimmy Kelsey had 26 assists and 5 aces. Creswell then won its tournament, beating 2A No. 1 Salem Academy, No. 11 Coquille and 2A No. 4 Monroe.
■ The No. 8 Billies swept No. 9 Scio last Wednesday, led by Cheyenne Green with 19 kills, Emily
Baker with 18 digs and Jasmine Valencia with 13 digs. They then hosted a tournament on Saturday and swept La Pine and No. 14 Oregon Episcopal.
■ No. 9 Thurston was swept by No. 10 North Eugene before beating Springfield 3-1.
■ Cottage Grove lost 3-0 to No. 1 Marshfield and No. 10 North Bend before losing to No. 15 Philomath in the North Marion Tournament.
BOYS SOCCER
■ No. 9 Cottage Grove drew 1-1 twice this week. First against No. 12 North Marion last Tuesday and against Marshfield on Thursday.
■ No. 13 Springfield had a 5-0 loss vs. 6A No. 11 Willamette.
■ No. 19 Pleasant Hill beat East Linn Christian Academy 6-2 for its 4th win in a row.
GIRLS SOCCER
■ No. 4 Thurston moved to 5-1 on the season after defeating Woodburn 3-1 in its sole game last week.
■ No. 14 Pleasant Hill bounced back after its first defeat of the season last week. The Billies had a 5-1 win at La Pine. Seniors Emma Dyemartin and Savannah Endicott, junior Tressa Geyer, and sophomores
Rian Busby and Tessa Hammond all had one goal. Pleasant Hill then beat Creswell 5-0.
■ No. 17 Springfield lost to 6A No. 11 Willamette 3-0.
■ Creswell hosted No. 3 Central Linn. The undefeated Cobras beat the Bulldogs 2-0.
■ Cottage Grove beat No. 11 Marshfield, 4-0.
CROSS COUNTRY
■ Both Creswell and Cottage Grove competed at the CG Bramble Scramble. The Lions boys placed second, led by three top 10 finishers: No. 1 Jaden Owens (17:28.11), No. 4 Carter Bengtson (17:53.03) and No. 9 Kobi Prenevost (19:35.41). Creswell’s top boys runner was No. 27 Carson Williamson (23:04.06). Meanwhile, the Lions girls placed third, led by No. 8 finisher Allison Palluck (22:36.83), No. 13 Ella Cardwell (24:10.71) and No. 14 Bella Keating (24:15.70). Bulldog girls top finisher was No. 19 Kylie Leonard (24:49.98).
