Virginia (Whiteman) Marshall of Dexter, Ore. passed away on Sept. 6, 2022, at the age of 95. She was born Aug, 8, 1927, in Albany, Ore. She grew up with two brothers. She worked as a secretary for Mountain State Electric.
Virginia met and married Bud Whiteman and settled in Dexter. They had six children together. She was widowed and later met and married Don Marshall. She was a professional seamstress and made and altered clothes for stores and individuals.
She loved the Lord and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to read and dance. Virginia loved animals. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Herb and Roger Rietz, her husband Bud Whiteman, and husband Don Marshall. She is survived by children Sherrie Almberg, Marilee Wilson, Kim Whiteman, Lance Whiteman, Holly Horton, and Scott Whiteman, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. We miss you so much and will never forget you. We look forward to seeing you in heaven.
