Linda Woodworth, 86, passed away in Eugene on July 9, 2022. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. and then moved with her family to Roseburg, Ore., where she attended Roseburg High School. She met her husband, E.R “Woody” Woodworth while attending school. They married in 1957 and had three children. Linda worked for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for a number of years until the family moved to Springfield, Ore. Linda was hired by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office and retired from there in 1992 as the civil section manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody in 1993. Linda enjoyed traveling with her group of friends and spending as much time as she could with her family. Linda is survived by her son Gregg, wife Connie and son Tim, her daughter Kelly and sons Shawn and Christopher, her son Kevin, wife Janet and son Zachary, and her Sister Susan Dillard. A service will be held for Linda on Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at Musgrove Family Mortuary, 225 S. Danebo Ave. in Eugene.
