Lowell “Faith” Smith, 89, of Cottage Grove passed away Nov. 18, 2021.
Faith was born Feb. 15, 1932 in Downey, Calif. to parents Fred and Maude (Nicholes) Pearce. Faith worked as a legal secretary and as a hospital staff coordinator. Her interests included needlepoint, cooking, gardening, writing, and church work. Faith loved small animals.
She married Ray Smith on May 7, 1988, in Cottage Grove. He passed away on Nov. 1, 1998.
Faith is survived by son Merrill Copperfield of Eureka Springs, Ark.; son Sheldon Glass of Escondido, Calif.; daughter Carolyn Glass of Vancouver, Wash.; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, and son Mark Glass.
A funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cottage Grove. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
