Irma Rachel Harwood, 103, of Cottage Grove passed away Sept. 4, 2021. Irma was born Oct. 24, 1918 to parents Albert Byron and Ida Virginia (Snyder) Barrett in Bridgeport, Neb.
Irma enjoyed quilting, sewing on her pedal machine and crocheting. She was a proud member of the Cottage Grove Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her son Albert (Brenda) Harwood of Harvest, Ala.; son Allen Harwood of Cottage Grove; son Alvin (Jackie) Harwood of Nehalem, Ore.; brother Carl Barrett of Twin Falls, Idaho; sister Pauling Parks of Cottage Grove; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Irma is predeceased by her spouse Clayton, four sisters and one brother.
A private family burial will be held at Silk Creek Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
