Stevan Richard Jaffe, 72, of Springfield, Ore. died on Jan. 9, 2021. He was the beloved father to Jesse Jaffe. He was born in Champaign, Ill., to his now deceased parents David Hugo Jaffe and Bobbye Jane Morgan. He grew up in San Diego, Calif. and lived there periodically throughout his life. He graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego and attended University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif.
He was an incredible entrepreneur. His terrific sales drive and irresistible personality was a great mix to lead him into successful businesses, including a jewelry wholesale company; two bars; training and becoming a real estate broker; and several other endeavors. He had a special ability to love and was loved in return all of his life. He took many trips with his son, including Bali and other areas.
In addition to his son, he is survived by brother Bruce Jaffe; sister Marcia Jaffe; cousins Jeff, Alison, Kate and Nick Morgan; and numerous nephews and nieces (and great nephews and nieces too) who live around the world including Israel, Indonesia, New Hampshire, Texas, New Jersey, and San Diego, Calif. A Celebration of Life is being planned in February.
