James “Jim” C. Perkins, 79, of Cottage Grove, Ore. passed away Jan. 12, 2021. Jim was born to Ovie Lee and Hazel Golden Soules Perkins in Oklahoma City, Okla. on April 25, 1941. Jim married Joan Monroe on Aug. 26, 1960 in Cottage Grove and together raised four children. Jim worked as a dry kiln operator and superintendent for the lumber industry.
