Timothy “Tim” Wagner, 59, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Dec. 16, 2020.
Tim is survived by an amazing wife, Carrie Wagner of Dexter, Ore.; mother JoAnne Crampton and stepmother Mildred Wagner, both of Springfield, Ore.; children Cassandre (Michael) Wilson, Kenneth (Bailey) Wagner and Stacey (Paul) Hines, all of Dexter; sister Sally Crampton Hammett of Springfield; and brothers Preston Crampton of Veneta, Ore. and Lance Wagner of Wisconsin.
Tim was born on May 4, 1961 in Springfield, Ore. to parents JoAnne and Kenneth Wagner. He graduated from Lowell High School in 1979.
Tim began working for Weyerhaeuser in 1979, later called International Paper, as a paper maker for over 41 years.
He married his lifetime sweetheart Carrie Wagner in 1986. The couple welcomed three children into their home and Tim set about teaching them strength, to have a sense of humor, to be understanding and compassionate, and to live life to the fullest. His children remember him as kind, funny and strong, with a big, boisterous personality. Tim always encouraged them to seize their goals.
He was the most generous person who loved hunting and being outdoors. He often said the last thing he wanted to do was to be out in God’s creation hunting. And with His grace that was the last thing he did before the illness was too much.
Tim’s personality was larger than life to most of us. He lived his life, had no regrets, and left a family that will surely miss him. He will forever be in our thoughts.
